“West Side Story” – TACT Summer Production at the Place

Clifton Team

I went to the matinee today with another Clifton colleague.  It is an excellent TACT Summer School production of  “West Side Story” at the Place, www.theplacetelford.com – and we were really impressed with the standard of their work.  Both the ensemble singing and the young lead soloists were excellent – not a word I use often when reviewing a production!  Well done Musical Director – Ross Doodson.  The acting and movement conveyed emotion and energy – the cast being guided by Director Bobby Standley and Choreographer – Rebecca Haydon.

They are sold out for tonight and tomorrow night – but there are tickets remaining for tomorrow afternoon and I would really advise going to see it.  If you are a theatre goer don’t miss it!  It really is well worth the two hours on a Sunday afternoon.  Tickets are on line and average at £13.50.

Please do try to support these future professional performers – you won’t be disappointed.
