LOCAL HERO : LOCAL GIVING
Some of you may remember that you enabled us to gain £1000 funding through contributing to our Local Hero – Local Giving fund last year when we nominated Charlotte Clark as our Local Hero. The tiles she made from young peoples’ art are now on display in the Reception area of Charlton School until such time as we move into the HSBC (Fingers crossed!).
So this year, Stephen Handley has agreed to create mugs with three separate logos. One will be a picture of the HSBC Building, a second will be a pen & ink sketch of the HSBC Building and the third will be our new name for the HSBC Building – for that you will have to wait and see?!!!!
Details of how you are able to contribute to the Local Giving campaign are below – should you have any worries or concerns about accessing the site, contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
Each year the national fundraiser Local Giving runs a campaign known as Local Hero.
We stand a chance of winning a £1,000 if we receive the largest number of online donations – not necessarily the largest amount.
Local artist Stephen Handley,
has agreed to be our Local Hero and all money raised will go to Stepnen to produce a collection of designed mugs which we will sell as merchandise or use in the HSBC building.
If you want to support us the minimum donation is £2 which you can gift aid if you are taxpayer and you can make this by doing the following: –
1) Go the website http://www.localgiving.org
